Benefits and types of data products

Data is required for various tasks in the product development process. In order to optimise the workflows within these processes, Safexpert offers different data products that support different work steps, such as during design or in standards research. By dividing Safexpert into different products and packages, you only pay for what you really need.

Standards packages


Safexpert standards packages are collections of particularly frequently used full-text documents. Through direct integration in Safexpert, an optimal workflow between risk assessment / design and standards research is achieved.

Data packages


Safexpert data packages provide the basis for your standards research as well as for Safexpert's update monitoring. By searching "only" in bibliographic data, you save the cost of any existing full-text documents.
 

Reference data


Reference data supports designers in automated engineering. Based on this data, Safexpert determines whether the applied sections (!) are still up to date in the event of changes to standards and directly suggests the new section of the changed standard.

Standards packages

With standards packages, all Safexpert users have central access to the full texts of harmonised European standards. These standards packages are offered in two different scopes. The standards package machine safety contains the A and B standards that are particularly important for machinery, plant and control engineering. The standards package machine safety plus is the perfect supplement to the standards package machine safety with 59 other important B standards. They are each offered in German and English. Facilitated search for suitable standards bodies

With the PDF viewer included in Safexpert, you can search across standards for all standards that contain certain terms. This makes the search for suitable standards considerably easier and faster.

You already have standards? That's why a standards package is still worthwhile and pays for itself quickly:


  • The standards contain jump targets manually entered by our experts in data management. Based on these jump targets, the appropriate parts of the standard from the risk assessment are opened directly at the corresponding point by double-clicking on a cross-reference. This eliminates the need for tedious browsing through standards.
  • The full-text search is carried out across all standards contained in the company favourites. This makes it easier to find specific solutions. Your collection of standards thus becomes an optimal and valuable reference work.
