Conditions of participation for IBF events

Thank you for your interest in participating in an IBF event! Below you will find information about the conditions of participation in our seminars, trainings, conferences and other events. We conduct these as on-site or WEB events. With the registration, the IBF terms and conditions (GTC) are bindingly accepted. The event can be cancelled up to 1 week before the start if the number of participants is too low. Should the event not take place due to force majeure (official regulations prohibiting the event, e.g. lockdowns, arrival of the speaker(s) not possible due to flooding, illness or accident of a speaker, in the case of WEB events technical failures such as internet failure / power failure / failure of the WEB transmission medium / or similar), the organiser shall not be liable for any resulting damage. In this case, as well as in the event of cancellation due to insufficient numbers of participants, any amounts already paid will be refunded. Recording of the event by the participant is not permitted.

Public events on-site or via WEB
The participation fee is to be paid after receipt of the invoice until 1 week before the event date. If the participation fee has not been paid in due time, the payment receipt must be presented at the beginning of the event as authorization to participate. Cancellation of registration must be made in writing and is free of charge up to 21 days before the event. After that 30% of the participation fee will be charged, from 4 days before the event or in case of no-show the full participation fee will be charged. We will gladly accept a substitute participant.

Exclusive (in-house) events on site or via WEB
Cancellation of a fixed booking must be made in writing and is free of charge up to 30 days before the event with regard to the daily rate. Up to 20 days before the event 30% and up to 15 days before 50% of the daily rate will be charged. From 15 days before the event, the full daily rate will be charged. Expenses already incurred (flight/train tickets, hotel reservations,...) will be charged to the customer regardless of the cancellation date. Depending on the payment modality indicated on your quotation, the invoicing will take place after the event with the payment terms indicated on the quotation.
