For comprehensive Safexpert training, we offer public training courses for beginners as well as advanced courses for experienced users. We also provide in-house training at your company.

For this purpose, we offer the starter package. It is intuitive to use and can be expanded later with additional features and modules if required.

A risk assessment can be created in just a few steps.

Yes. For this purpose, we offer the Safexpert Low Voltage Directive package. It is available in all abo packets (starter, pro and enterprise).

The included CE Guide for the Low Voltage Directive takes you step by step through the conformity assessment procedure in accordance with the Low Voltage Directive.

If you already have a Safexpert Machinery Directive licence, you can add the CE Guide for the Low Voltage Directive at any time.

Yes. Safexpert offers a wide range of options for adapting the system to your company’s individual requirements.

For example, you can customise reports (e.g. by adding your company logo), create project templates with industry-specific settings, build your own measures libraries, create custom checklists, and define company-specific cross-reference lists with references to internal company standards and other requirements.

Safexpert allows you to install the database on a central server, enabling teams to collaborate across multiple locations or throughout an entire corporate group.

From the Starter package onwards, you can document the required Performance Level (PL) or Safety Integrity Level (SIL) for individual measures within the risk assessment.

In addition, Safexpert provides an interface to the specialist software SISTEMA for determining the Performance Level. SISTEMA is available free of charge from www.dguv.de. For determining the Safety Integrity Level, Safexpert also provides an interface to the TIA Selection Tool from Siemens.

The calculation of the actual values achieved by the control system is carried out in SISTEMA or TIA.

Safexpert is available with user interfaces in German, English, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish.

Regardless of the interface language, the project language is selected when creating a project. Reports can then be generated in the selected project language.

The Declaration of Conformity, Declaration of Incorporation and Manufacturer’s Declaration can also be maintained and printed in other languages.

All reports, such as the risk assessment or Declarations of Conformity for machinery, as well as Declarations of Incorporation for partly completed machinery, can be generated via the print menu.

The available file formats are PDF, Word (RTF) and Excel.

No. Individual projects can be checked out to an external notebook and made available for offline use.

To do this, the user must have an assigned seat (full user with write permissions).

This support can be provided either as a one-off consultancy service or as ongoing support at defined intervals.

Conventional standards databases generally only allow you to search for standards by title.

By linking the standards you use with your project data, Safexpert can check whether the relevant standards are still up to date right down to the level of individual measures within a project. If a standard changes, affected users can also be informed by email about changes relevant to their ongoing projects.

Yes. In addition to the standards titles included in the data packages, we also offer full-text standards and particularly cost-effective standards packages in PDF format.

Detailed information and prices

For simultaneous use of the standards and standards packages included in Safexpert by multiple users, we offer a particularly cost-effective concurrent access licence.

This allows the standards to be made centrally available to all users, based on the number of simultaneous Safexpert users.

Yes. Provided that this is permitted under the licensing terms of your standards provider, existing full-text standards can be manually linked to the corresponding standards titles in Safexpert.

Even if you have already purchased certain standards in full text, purchasing a Safexpert standards package may still be worthwhile. Firstly, it saves you the effort of manually linking the full-text documents to the corresponding standards titles. Secondly, with a maintenance agreement for the standards packages, future updates to the standards are provided automatically at no additional cost.

This means that the investment can pay for itself in a very short time.

Yes. In addition to the standards titles contained in the online database and data packages, Safexpert NormManager also allows you to add and manage your own titles.

As part of SECOM, experts can share additional knowledge relating to standards and Safexpert. This may include template projects for specific machine types, standardised checklists based on C-type standards, supplementary information, or suggested solutions for individual clauses of standards in the Safexpert Knowledge Base.

You decide whether you would like to make your knowledge available free of charge or offer it on a paid basis.
